It all depends. Some people have stuff - books, dvds etc. that are theirs that they sell on Amazon. Others have stores where they buy inventory to stock the store. Another way is to find a company that will do drop shipments. You sell the item from their inventory, send them the money and where to ship it to.

There's one thing that's not clear to me about the Clickbank program as I found it on their site. If you promote one product out of their thousands and the customer follows your link to buy the product, what happens if the customer then clicks the product tag and buys more products you did not specifically promote. Do you get commissions on all he bought or only the product he follows the link for? My present eBook shop is an affiliate program where I don't make as much commission, but I just send the customer to a site that is set up as my store and I get commission on anything he buys there unless he later comes in on someone else's link to their store. Is this that sort of program? Or do you only get commission on the specific products you are linking to.?
