Help Starting a Home Business

Help Starting a Home Business

For the purposes of this blog post I am going to show how easy it is getting top ranking for keyword phrases that have little competition in the search engines.

The keyword I have chosen for this purpose is the term ‘help starting a home business’. The actual term was ‘help starting a business’ but I have added ‘home’ into the equation because that is the field that we work in.

Choosing the right keywords is a very important aspect of setting up any online business. You may think that such terms will have little or no traffic. It’s true that they may get little traffic but if they are appearing in the list of search terms that you have queried through certain keyword utilities then someone is searching google and the other major SEs using these phrases.

At this point I am just writing a blog post and already I have used the main keyword phrase, ‘help starting a home business’ a couple of times. You may also want to add variations of the keyword phrase like, ‘help getting started online’.

I copy the keywords into the tags fields at the bottom of my posts because I use a tool called Auto Social Poster to automatically post each of my blog articles to over 30 Social Bookmarking sites using the tags I put in the tag fields.

It also adds weight to your keyword phrases by adding bolding to your phrases as I have just done.

I usually write a blog post of between 400-600 words.

It has to be said that this strategy will not work on a brand new blog. You have to have already added some unique content to your blog over a period of around 1-2 months. I have used this strategy on blogs as little as 4 weeks old and have seen results.

I am confident that I will see a top ranking in the major search engines for this keyword phrase ‘help starting a home business’ in as little as 2-3 days.

For more information on this strategy you can grab my Blog and Bookmark special report at the link below:
Blog and Bookmark strategy:
 Blog and Bookmark to Higher Search Engine Ranking

I will now add a few more tags to the list below before adding this post to a few categories to the right before publishing.

In a further video I will publish the results of this experiment. Let’s hope it does well

Make Money Online with Google Adsense Videos

This isn’t new this week but it is a recent development by Google to release video ad units.

So, now you can make money online by embedding Videos in your blogs and websites.

I read a report recently that video is generating around 70% of the web entire quota of traffic. That is absolutely huge. Video marketing is here to stay and those who don’t move with the changes will go down.

Now is the time to start adding something other than text to your websites. What better way to make that happen than by choosing Adsense videos, where you will make money as well as add some cool content for your website visitors.

Blogging for Home Business Profits

Blogging for Home Business Profits

I just love blogging!

Using a blog to promote any home business is the best way for anyone to make a living online.

If you can write about your own experiences then you can earn money online. You don’t even have to write well as you have probably guessed by reading some of my other posts.

I occasionally get people making comments about my bad grammar and typos  but I don’t really mind. As long as I get my message out then I’m happy enough.

The message is that the Search engines just love unique content and as long as you update your blog regularly with unique targeted traffic then you will get some high end web traffic.

It is then your job to turn these visitors into a monthly residual income. One way to do this is to simply plugin a few affiliate links to your blog pages as I have done on this. Another is to get paid for the advertising on your site through ad revenue programs like Google adsense.

The most important thing is that you start adding content to your blog. You can devise your income strategy later.

The great thing about blogging too is that the traffic just keeps on coming as long as you update on a fairly regular basis.

Home Based Business Opportunities is one of the most competitive markets yet I can get my keyword phrases listed in the top pages of Google. Can you imagine how much more powerful blogging can be in less competitive markets?

What you MUST understand is that the most successful people in this business are doing little things consistently. There are no grand strategies that will suddenly send you 1000s of daily visitors to your site. Targeted web traffic = Profits! So you need to setout a plan to do certain things daily that will build momentum to increase your web presence.

One strategy I use on all my blogs is to combine Blogging with Social Bookmarking. This method has virtually exploded my traffic stats. You can check that out at the link below:

Internet Entrepreneur Club Trial

Internet Entrepreneur Club Trial

Recently I’ve had a lot of people ask me about the Internet marketing communities springing up all over the Web.

You know the ones I’m talking about…

… The discussion forums and chat rooms hosted by so-called Internet marketing gurus who promise members “unlimited access” to them and their team of experts — but the only people you meet in their forums are beginner marketers who are still struggling to make their first dollar online!

In order to help you determine which are worth joining — and which are a colossal waste of time — here are three questions you need to ask before getting involved in any of these communities…

==============================================

Question #1: Are your questions guaranteed to be answered by an experienced Internet marketing professional?

==============================================

Let’s face it… Other Internet marketers can be a useful source of useful information — provided they have actual experience running successful online businesses!

You don’t want to get involved in a community where the only suggestions you get are from people who are simply parroting things they’ve read online, without ever having tried the strategies for themselves.

So when someone offers you a piece of advice, ask them for REAL PROOF they know it actually works. If they can’t provide it, it’s time to move on.

==============================================

Question #2: Are your questions guaranteed to be answered within a specific time frame?

==============================================

I’ve seen it happen again and again — people join an online marketing community desperate for advice from a seasoned marketing professional. So they post their most pressing questions and wait impatiently for someone to answer them.

And they wait… And wait… And wait…

… Meanwhile, they’re losing out on potential sales because they’re not taking any decisive action with their websites!

==============================================

Question #3: Will the “experts” give you a detailed analysis of your website — and offer concrete suggestions for improvement?

==============================================

If you could ask just ONE question of a seasoned marketing professional, here’s what it should be:

“Will you review my website?”

If they say no, then my advice to you is: find another community to join.

Without a doubt, you’ll get more value out of a detailed website review than any other information a seasoned professional can offer.

A reputable online expert will give your site a full “diagnostic” — and let you know exactly what changes you need to make to your website and salescopy to improve your conversions.

By asking these three questions, you can make sure you join a community populated with real Internet marketing professionals who will deliver real advice — and help you get REAL results!

Personally, I’ve done some research and I think the only online community worth joining is Derek Gehl’s exclusive “Internet Entrepreneur Club.”

It delivers an immense amount of value that you simply will not find anywhere else.

In addition to round-the-clock access to Derek and his team of REAL Internet marketing experts, you also get:

>> A guaranteed response from a seasoned professional within 48 hours… and often much sooner!

>> Monthly 60-75 minute teleconferences with industry masterminds who are making huge six- and seven-figure incomes such as John Assaraf, one of the experts featured in the hit film and book, “The Secret.”)

>> Monthly training videos showing how to implement the latest proven online marketing strategies

… and much more.

On top of that — I recently discovered that Derek is currently giving away a handful of 30-day trials of his exclusive private member’s club — for just $2.95!

… So if you’re thinking about joining an online marketing community — and getting UNLIMITED Internet marketing advice including business ideas… website reviews… salescopy advice… traffic secrets… and MORE…

… Then you need to move fast and click on the link below to claim your $2.95 Trial Membership before they’re all gone and Derek closes the doors to his Club for good!

Activate your risk-free trial now by going to:

To your success,

Mal Keenan

P.S. After 30 days in Derek’s Club, Aaron Beats was able to double his traffic numbers and increase his sales by 300% in less than 30 days! Now he regularly makes more than $10,000 every month.

3 Powerful Affiliate Marketing Tactics to Effectively Close the Sale

Saturday, December 30th, 2006

3 Powerful Affiliate Marketing Tactics to Effectively Close the Sale
As an affiliate marketer, my main aim is to get the most profit out of the market I am promoting to. Over the years through trial and error I have perfected what I believe to be three of the most important strategies for gaining nice profits from whichever internet market you decide to enter.

So, let’s get started…

Strategy Number One - You should absolutely set up a website for your affiliate products. Sure, every product will come with it’s own affiliate page customised with your unique affiliate links but smart marketers know that this is not enough. It is very important that you set up your own website for your affiliate products. That includes registering your domain and hosting, plus creating or paying for a simple web design complete with the affiliate images that most affiliate programs provide.

Setting up a website may seem like too much hard work but believe me, it pays off in terms of future profits if you put in the initial effort.

It also pays to create a different page within your website for each affiliate product or service. You could write an article or review page highlighting the benefits of using your recomended service with a link to your unique affiliate page.

Setting up a blog geared towards your affiliate market is the perfect way to impliment the above strategy.

Strategy Number Two - Next on my list of essential strategies is to place an optin form on your website offering a free report outlining the benfits of your service. It is a fact that the majority of sales are made between the fifth and twelfth contact between you and your prospect.

If a prospect visits your site and then clicks off never to return, you have missed many more opportunities to close the sale. That’s where the optin form comes in. If you manage to entice website visitors to offer their email address then you can follow up via an email autoresponder as often as you like or until the prospect unsubscribes from your list.

Short 7 day reports are quite effective and if you provide useful information you may have a customer for life. Capturing a prospects email address is one of the most important tasks in affiliate marketing and internet marketing as a whole.

Strategy Number Three - Drive TARGETED traffic to your site. No point in paying to send general website visitors to a site built around the topic of “Exotic Birds”. Pointless writing and submitting articles on “Travel in Italy” if you are sending visitors to an “Internet Marketing” site. You get the point?

It is essential that your visitors are targeted to your affiliate marketing niche if you are going to close the sale. This point may seem obvious to some, but many IM newbies spend countless hours and dollars focusing on website traffic that is simply not interested in what they have to offer.

The three strategies above are extremely effective and even more so in a tight niche market. If you employ this advice you are well on your way to becoming a successful affiliate marketer.

Autoresponder marketing strategy. Confirmation email.

Wednesday, November 16th, 2005

There are a number of different ways you can use autoresponders
to market to your visitors

One of them - confirmation emails

Using autoresponders to send instant confirmation emails to your
Customers and subscribes after they have made a purchase or signed
up for your newsletter is a great way to provide people with an
additional level to customers service

Autoresponders also free you from having to manually send out
confirmations – giving your time to focus on more profitable areas
of your business. But you also know that these confirmation
autoresponders ar a great marketing opportunity

Because instant confirmation do a lot to boost the credibility of
your company, they are the perfect place for a marketing message.
You`ve responded immediately to your customer`s request , letting
them now that yours is a reliable , professional company. Why not
take advantage of that by offering them a specia price on one of
your best-selling products ?

Suppose you own a web site that sells cycling equipment. Of course ,
you offer a free weekly newsletter packed with tons of great
cycling tips. Every time someone signs up for your newsletter , they
receive an instant autoresponder thanking them and confirming
their subscription.

Once you`ve seen for yourself how autoresponders can boost your
profits , you`ll be working them into just about every aspect of your business.
Here`s one example of how can use a network of autoresponders to
capture sales like wound`t believe.

Step 1 A visitor come sto your site and decides to sing up
to your free newsletter or free report.

Step 2 That visitors is instantly sent a confirmation e-mail
via autoresponder thanking them for their subscription .
This e-mail also includes a discount offer on one of
your best-selling product.

Step 3 The subscribes orders your product. This purchase triggers
another autoresponder , which
contains an offer for an add-on o the product their just bought.

Step 4 They decided to purchase the add-on , which triggers another autoresponder.

Step 5 And so on …….

Can you believe that this process is 100% automatic? Once you`ve
written to autoresponders, you can literally forget about them and just
start watching the sales roll on. With almost no effort on your part,
you`ve turned a casual visitors to your site into a repeat customers.
And you barely had to lift a finger.

And don`t limit yourself to just placing marketing messages in
your confirmation messages. You can ( and should) advertise your product
and services just about every time you send a message to yourcustomers
and subscribes.Remember , once you`ve put an advertising message into
your autoresponders , your sales will be generaye automatically.

How to Design an Irresistible Tradeshow Booth

Monday, November 14th, 2005

Once you’ve made the decision to go on the trade show circuit, suddenly your heart starts pounding, you feel a little dizzy. Now you have to have a trade show booth! Questions start swirling through your head and you get a somewhat queasy feeling in your stomach.

Relax. You already have the key to a compelling trade show booth: your company. Now all you have to do is come up with a design that fits it.

Before you start panicking again, think about your letterhead and logo (you do have those, right? RIGHT?). Usually, companies will use the same colors and many of the same graphics they use in their marketing materials for the foundation of their trade show booth design. These are essential parts of a great trade show booth because you want the booth to stay within the overall branding of your company.

Now think color. You want to reel them in, and one of the easiest ways to do this is to have an inviting-or bold-trade show booth out there on the floor. You want to keep the colors balanced for aesthetic appeal. If your logo is primarily red, then go all out and use a red and black color scheme. Red and black are power colors that make people sit up, or in this case, walk up, and take notice.

Which is exactly what you want them to do. Bright, cheerful colors do well in trade show booth designs because they signify energy and class.

What if your colors are less bold, more pastel, even white and black? These are great too! Especially when everyone else’s trade show booths are shouting COLOR! COLOR! COLOR! One of the most successful trade show booths ever for a Fortune 500 company was white and pale gray, with hints of red and black set against some gorgeous visuals.

Why? With small, some simple spotlights highlighting the visual panels of the booth and a little greenery carefully arranged in front of the trade show booth, along with a matching carpet of pale gray and a couple of folding directors’ chairs, this trade show booth was a virtual oasis in a sea of color noise. And people literally flocked to it. Because it was different.

And that’s another way to have an extremely effective, powerful trade show booth design. Get sneaky! Find out what your competition’s up to. Then do the opposite! This is a sure way to compel people to your booth. You’ll stand out and people will just have to find out why, what you’re up to.

Of course, once you reel people over to your killer trade show booth, you want to be sure they’re compelled to stick around! This is where your staff is vital. Cheerful, up-beat people, who enjoy dealing with the public and who KNOW YOUR PRODUCT OR SERVICE, are essential to a successful trade show booth. So make sure your staff is as appealing (and it won’t hurt if they have a bit of the old carney in them!) as the trade show booth design that brought them there to begin with!

Patty Stripes shows you how to pull off unimaginable marketing success with the help of your trade show booth. Learn the biggest mistakes people do when designing trade show booths and get more tips about your trade show booth design.

How To Profit From Private Label Articles

How To Profit From Private Label Articles

Free content is great. I love how easy is to enrich a website in minutes republishing free articles written by real expert authors. Furthermore they give me the invaluable ability to profit from niches I really don’t know nothing about.

Lately I have been thinking about how to develop my strategy, and I ended thinking about outsource my writing content creation. The only drawback is the difficulty in finding good writers delivering quality articles for let’s say $5-6 each. I think this is aperfect solution from a business perspective. But in a more pragmatic sense, it is even more sophisticate than I’d really needed.

During my research for alternatives, I’ve found that private label content with limited distribution has exactly the right amount of quality and exclusivity I was looking for. If only hundreds of webmaster have access to the articles and they have granted the right to rewrite them as a privilege for their membership, chances are they will do (for profit and for reputation). Even better, not every article will necessarily be used from every member.

If you are wondering what the best sources of private label articles are I’ve reviewed some of them.

Now I’d like to give you some ideas on how to profit from such exclusive content:

Open a blog. Then, instead of publish the same free articles everyone is using or the same exact news you have just read on another blog, try to give it some real appeal. Forget everything you know about seo and traffic: build value. Use this blog like a business card. Establish relationships in your niche: add interesting comments in other blogs; link it in your forums’ signature; use it to easily get into publisher networks requiring quality partners for their advertisers.

Select a few articles, edit them as needed, put yourself as the author and set an autoresponder course or build a pdf report. Use it to capture subscriptions to your list. Brand yourself like an authority and offer your prospects a good reason to remember you and your business.

While you should not submit private label articles to article directories unless you practically rewrite them fully, you can still use them to promote your website.Articles directories want unique content, and your private label articles are not “so much” unique. But there is plenty of website publishers needing for good content. You may want to contact them privately offering your rebranded articles (whether if you hardly edited them or not) and you’ll eventually gain lot of benefits.

Build laser-targeted content for Adsense (or whatever). Because you can change everything in the articles, you can edit them to better target high-bid Adsense search terms or for seo purposes. Also you could note that as you don’t have to publish the authors’ resource box and none of the other resources he incidentally linked, you will able to keep the traffic on your site (or to drive it where you’ll make more money).

Can you get it? Pratically it’s like writing your own articles. Thus, you can focus on money making, not writing.

If you want to learn killer article marketing secrets, I suggest you subscribe this 50 parts course. It covers every aspect of article marketing I leaved out here, and it’s full of great ideas and strategies. Furthermore it’s completely free.

Philip Muller. Visit my blog at http://www.article-marketing.info for more tips and suggestion about private label articles. Philip Muller. Visit my blog at http://www.article-marketing.info for more tips and suggestion about private label articles.

Affiliate Internet Marketing Secret

Thursday, November 10th, 2005

There are many ways for your Affiliate programs to be promoted, but maybe you’re missing the “key” to the “best” promotion. Here are some things to consider:

If you are trying to sell a product or service on the Internet, then you are probably doing so through an affiliate program. You signed up as an affiliate (usually for free) and they gave you an affiliate ID (user name or number). They may have even given you a basic marketing package which includes text ads, banner ads, and solo ads with a link to your affiliate sales page. All you have to do is use these tools to get traffic to your affiliate sales page.

Well that sounds pretty easy, doesn’t it? This process actually works too, except that your probability of converting your traffic into sales is very, very, very low. In other words, you may have to have thousands of people to visit your affiliate sales page before you ever see your first sell. Now those aren’t very good odds, are they?

Unfortunately, that is what most people do. They spend a lot of time, effort, and money getting all of those people to that affiliate sales page and then they finally make a sale and earn a referral fee or commission. But wait, it can get even worse. Let’s say that you made one sale and earned a $10 commission. That’s great, right? Well not really, because in the terms and conditions of your affiliate program, you don’t actually get paid until you have accumulated at least $20 of commissions. So get back to it and get another sale and finally get paid. Good grief!

Don’t quit! Internet marketing is a great way to make extra money, but you have to know some of the secrets. Here’s one. “Don’t advertise your affiliate program directly.” You must use a four step process.

Four Step Process

1. First, you must provide something of value. The easiest valuable thing that you can give away is information. An informative email course, special report, or ebook are all great ways to give away free information.

2. This step goes along with the initial step above. Don’t give away your free information until you get an email address. You must capture the name and email address of your prospective sale in order to be able to implement the next step.

3. If the information that you are providing is good and helps people, then you will earn some trust. If someone gives you some information that saves you time, money, or effort; then you are going to closely read anything that they send you - as long as the information is still valuable. This is why it is so important that you get that name and email address before you start giving away your information. Now you can keep the information flowing through an occasional email to your prospect.

4. Finally, if you have been providing valuable information and earning trust from people, it is much more likely that they will buy something that you recommend. This is especially true if you can convince them that what you are recommending will help them and that it is worth their money. The easiest way to do this is to recommend something that you have actually purchased and use yourself. Just tell them how it helped you and why you think that it was worth what you paid for it!

‘Social Bookmarking’ As An Aggressive and Acceptable Blog Marketing Tactic

Tuesday, November 8th, 2005

By Greg White

Social bookmarking websites are becoming more and more
popular. They allow you to save bookmarks online and
Tag/Categorize them with keywords instead of saving them
as bookmarks in the favorite’s list of your browser.
This is particularly useful when your browser based
bookmarks have become unwieldy. It’s also help since
you can access your bookmarks from any computer where
you have an internet connection.

I have compiled a list of Social Bookmarking websites from
a number of sources. You can find it here:
http://www.blogmarketingtactics.com/social-bookmarking
/social-bookmarking-top-links.html

Once you have bookmarked them, you can view them, sort
them by category/keyword as well as see links from others
that have been categorized like yours.

You also establish RSS feeds for each category (tag) that you
’subscribe’ to. This alerts you to new links in your areas of
interest. Your bookmark collection/RSS Feed becomes
viewable to others who can also copy your bookmarks to their
own collection. So now you can aggressively promote your
RSS feed to the RSS Directories and Search engines,
syndicate them and make them available to a much wider
audience.

Social bookmarking sites also help you to meet other people
who are interested in the same topics you are and who may
also have knowledge of web resources that you don’t.

On Social Bookmarking sites, you first create an account.
Then you bookmark interesting and useful things in the area
of your interest or expertise. By doing so you create a
useful Feed. Once you’ve done that you intermittently,
(or aggressively), add useful and interesting items, (that
could use additional exposure), from your own content.
Make an honest effort to contribute USEFUL information
and links. This is all about sharing and exposure. Done
properly, you can be as aggressive as you want to be about
sharing information. You can share your blog(s), links to
your informational/resource sites etc. Think about the fact
that when you share links to other’s resources, you’re also
effectively promoting their content as well.

This is a way you can aggressively and ethically promote
your content and the content of others. I personally
have hundreds of gigabytes of my own information and
information of others, connected to my notebook. In the
final analysis, it’s doing me no good what-so-ever just
sitting there. But by organizing it, online, I can help
myself, (getting organized, getting my content exposed,
etc.) and help others at the same time.

If you spice up your feed with too much sales and
marketing related or self promotional stuff, people
can and will easily drop their subscription to your feed.
And instead of gaining good will and doing a service
to the internet community you could get labeled as a
spammer and suffer the consequences.

So while being aggressive is possible and acceptable,
being careful to consider the best interest of the
community is certainly warranted.

Balancing being ethical and providing a useful service
to others with promoting your own content enables you
to be as aggressive as you like. But remember, in the
final analysis, others will make the decision on whether
it’s ethical and useful or spam.
