The easy part is actually getting setup. Many interested prospects are terrified by the notion of setting up a website. I think most are unaware that it takes very little time and effort to do this. And, costs very little also .

An online business IS basically a website with content, usually with links to products and services. When it is seen in this light you can begin to see that ANYONE can make money online.

3. Link to products and services.

The products and services do not even have to be your own. 1000s of merchants online have setup affiliate programs for their wares. That means you can signup for their affiliate program and make commissions, as high as 75%, for selling their services and products on your site.

Affiliate products can be sold in any niche market imaginable. As more and more merchants see the profit potential in setting up an affiliate program to increase sales, the number of different markets that affiliate programs become available increases too.

So, you can virtually create a website on ANY topic and make money. It is always better to set up in a niche where you have an interest. That way it will be much easier to write content for this niche. You are more likely to become passionate around a subject that you have knowledge in too.

To register a domain name you should go to Godaddy.com. This will be your business name and usually costs around $10 per year. For hosting you can go here - Web Hosting - This costs $24.95 per month and will host your website. You can get hosting cheaper but this host allows you to make money by referring others. That’s why it’s my favourite.

Now that you have a domain name and web hosting you need to get someone to design your site. This can cost anywhere from a few dollars to a few hundred dollars. I use a Wordpress blog on many of my sites. Wordpress is free and is a ready made website with a control panel for adding content. This blog is hosted by Wordpress. I think it looks good!

Setting Up and Online Home Business Is Not Rocket Science

Making a living from an online business is not complicated. What I find is that most people I come into contact are unable to take action. They are overcome with over-analyzing how or what should be done and NEVER EVER take the plunge. They get the idea or notion in their head that this is impossible for them - that it only works for certain people.

Make Money Online with Affiliate Programs

I bless the day that I first came across affiliate programs. It was on that day I got an idea that I would be able to make money online and put the process entirely on auto-pilot. That is exactly what I set out to do….

Today, much of my income is automated and that is in a big way thanks to being given the chance to market products and services that do not actually belong to me.

I simply send visitors to a special affiliate link provided by the item owner. When any sales are made, I get a % of the payment. With some products or services that I promote the cut is as high as 75%. Wow! On a $100 sale I get $75.

Even better than that, I do not have to be concerned about what happens after the sale has been made. The service provider is responsible for the delivery and aftersales support of the products that I personally sell.

The fact that I do not deal with anything other than collecting my monthly check from my mailbox means I can completely automate this sales process and even the marketing.

When visitors visit my site from the search engines they click on my affiliate link - They decide to buy - The product is delivered. Most times I sell digital products so the delivery is a download delivered instantly - The product owner picks up any problems that the buyer may have - At the end of the month a check will arrive in my mail with a total of all the sales I have made.

In the meantime, I am sitting at home in front of the T.V eating ice cream with my family :mrgreen:. Sometimes I am lying on a beach in the Mediterranean while this process continues.

I use autoresponders also that send out preiodic email automatically every couple of days. The emails are captured from my websites where visitors are encouraged to add their email in exchange for my free ebook. My autopresponder follows up sending the prospects back to my various affiliate products and services.
