A One, Two, Three Online Home Business

Setting up your own online home business is as easy as one, two, three.

1. You register a domain name. This will be your own business name and will belong to you for as long as you continue to register it. You can get a domain name for as little as $5-$10 per year and even less expensive if you register for more than one year at a time.

No one else can have the same domain name as you. You brand is completely unique, so choose something that is memorable and/or contains keywords specific to the topic of your business. I suggest you go for a .com name rather than one of the less recognisable .info or .biz domains.

2. You will need web hosting. A webhost is basically a company that host large web servers that are online 24 hrs per day and able to keep your site live on the net during this time. Every web host will give you a certain amount of space for your website, determined by how much you are willing to pay. I suggest you go for the lowest tariff when buying web hosting. You can always upgrade at a later date if you need to.

3. You will also require a website. No matter whether your website is for business or pursuing a passion of yours, in order to bring traffic to that site on a regular basis you MUST add unique, targeted content to your web pages.

There are many ways to add content. The easiest ways to do this for a newcomer is to get hold of one of the self publishing and content management tools like Wordpress or Joomla. These allow you to use a WYSIWYG editor to add text, images and even videos to your site - and they’re free to download.

Of course once you have the basics you need someone to guide you in the finer intricacies of actually turning your website into a profit machine.

Who Succeeds in Internet Business?

Who Succeeds in Internet Business?

Those who succeed in online business are those who keep in mind some basic points. Here’s my top 3 that come to mind:

1. You MUST treat your online business just like you would if you set up a business offline. You wouldn’t venture into business offline without setting a basic plan which includes a budget and a time commitment. So you shouldn’t expect anything different from a net business.

2. Don’t get too bogged down with the intracacies of your website or sales page. Many people want their website or sales page to be perfect before they actually put it to the public. You can spend a lifetime trying to create a faultless website but although sales copy, website layout, and content is very important, the most crucial thing is that you get your site online and start driving some targeted traffic to it. You can always tweak your website when the traffic starts coming.

3. Track your traffic. Besides the fact that keeping an eye on your progress can motivate you with eveery step forward, it’s vitally important that you track any ad campaigns and the origin of visitors that arrive on your site. You need to know what’s working and what isn’t. It’s quite obvious that if you don’t know what’s bringing you success then you could spend hours every day involved in marketing tactics that simply are not worth your time.

4. Build an Optin Email list - You should have an online form on your website collecting visitors name and email addresses from day one. Most of the super successful online business entrepreneurs have large optin email lists. They can literally make $1000s from every mailing to their lists. Your list can be a source of traffic and income for many years to come so get started on that from the outset.

5. Persist - I have left the most important attribute to have for running a successful internet home business to the last. Persistence is crucial and lack thereof is one of the greatest reasons that people fail online. They have unrealistic expectations of what is required and they fail to keep doing the daily marketing tasks to create a constant stream of targeted traffic to their websites.

Follow the 5 tips above and you will truly find success online.

What is the Pips Powergroup?

What is the Pips Powergroup?

I came across this question recently on the Warrior forum and I’m gonna answer it here.

The Pips or Plugin Profit Site Power Group is a mentoring program set up by Ken Troyer to help those members of Stone Evans’ program who are struggling to make a buck online.

I have been a member of the Plugin profit site since 2003 and am also one of the mentors chosen by Ken to help make the new PIPS Powergroup work.

The problem with starting any online business, Pips or otherwise, is that most people just don’t know how to proceed once they’ve got their website online. Getting online is actually the easy part, marketing your site is where the real work comes in.

Another major factor where a lot of newcomers run into difficulty with the plugin profit site is that they spend a fortune within the first month or two and end up feeling disillusioned plus a lot more in debt with little or nothing to show for it.

That where the Powergroup comes in. We have been showing plugin profit site owners how to effectively curb their spending down to a minimum amount and even more importantly how to drive traffic to their sites using tried and tested methods of internet marketing.

We are also their to help and encourage our membership step by step. There is a big, big difference between going it alone in affiliate marketing than being guided by 6 seasoned pros.

The Pips powergroup has an online discussion forum plus loads of free resources to help members get a better grasp of the Plugin profit site and general internet business.

The discussion forum is the mainstay of the business concept. This allows members to come and ask questions of the mentors, including myself, either privately or in the open forum where they are always sure to get an honest, forthright response.

You can’t put a price on having the ability to go somewhere to get genuine, honest guidance in this manner. I personally would have saved myself $1000s and years of frustration had I people to turn to that could offer some solid help and support.

We aren’t like any other forum though. Because this is our business and our members have invested their time and money in us, we are obliged from a business standpoint to make sure that our members succeed.

Sure, I participate in other discussion forums but there is no way I’m gonna put in the time and effort that I do into our Powergroup. This stands to reason. The Pips Powergroup is now part of my online business, as it is with all the other mentors, so it will certainly get our full attention.

This business is just like any other legitimate enterprise. There are no shortcuts or secrets. If you want to succeed online then you need to realize that it takes hard work plus loads of persistence to make it.

This is a mindset we keep hammering through in the Pips Powergroup forum but more importantly we are there to ensure that are members are given proper support and knowhow to finally make a living online.

The little things done over and over again are what eventually lead to online success.

Work at Home Businesses in a Failing Economy

Work at Home Businesses in a Failing Economy

Have last week’s developments with the US economy got you feeling spooked?

I don’t blame you! What with the country’s second-largest bank collapse PLUS a government bailout of Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac happening in the same WEEK, it’s hard to know what to expect next!

If you’re like the other small business owners I know, I’m willing to bet that, right this minute, you’re on the fence about whether you should continue to invest in the tools and help you need to start your Internet business… or whether it’s better to save your cash until things stabilize a bit.

And that’s actually why I’m firing off this hasty blog post…

… because I’ve just learned about a way you can do BOTH, as long as you act right away!

A few months ago, Internet marketing guru Derek Gehl unleashed a powerful business-building system that gives you all the tools and assistance you need to start a completely automated, hands-free Internet business from SCRATCH, including the website, a salesletter, an online payment system, endless streams of traffic, and help getting it all set up.

He named it “BeBiz,” and since its release, it’s gone on to become the most simple yet comprehensive way for “newbies” to go from zero to online profits in as short a time span as possible (often in as little as 5 days!).

Well, I just became aware that, in order to give as many people as possible a leg up during this volatile economy, he’s going to WAIVE the entire $177 BeBiz start-up fee for new members!

Unfortunately, there’s a catch…

Due to the amount of money he could potentially lose with this offer, he can only make it available to the next 200 people who get in touch with him…

… so I urge you to follow this link contact him right away:

Trust me: you do NOT want to let this opportunity pass you by!

Where ELSE will you get a professional-looking sales website that could have you earning profits by this time next month (along with an Internet marketing genius looking over your shoulder and guiding you as you set it up)?

Best wishes for your business,

Mal

P.S. During the initial BeBiz launch, Derek made 250 spots available, and they were all snapped up in mere hours — and that was WITH the regular $177 start-up fee — so you can just imagine how fast these 200 spots with NO start-up fees are going to go.
