To give a recommendation of only one home business would be impossible given the fact that there are numerous ways that anyone with a PC can make a fortune online.

I have been involved in affiliate marketing since 1998 so I’ve come across the best and the worst online business opportunities.

It’s important when searching for an online business that you set out a plan and stick to it. Unfortunately this advice is something that i didn’t actually follow myself but I know in hindsight that had I done so I would have saved myself a lot of time, effort and money.

You should also decide how much you are prepared to spend on your online business. If this is going to be a serious enterprise then you will have to invest some cash . Yeah right, shock, horror!

I have to spend cash? Well, it is a business you are setting up! Of course you have to spend or invest, as I like to put it.

The good news is that you can be earning more than you spend within a short time if you focus as muuch time and energy into your new business - especially in the early months.

It isn’t difficult to set up your own home based business online but it does take work to make it successful.

The easy part is actually getting setup. Many interested prospects are terrified by the notion of setting up a website. I think most are unaware that it takes very little time and effort to do this. And, costs very little also .

An online business IS basically a website with content, usually with links to products and services. When it is seen in this light you can begin to see that ANYONE can make money online.

3. Link to products and services.

To register a domain name you should go to Godaddy.com. This will be your business name and usually costs around $10 per year. For hosting you can go here - Web Hosting - This costs $24.95 per month and will host your website. You can get hosting cheaper but this host allows you to make money by referring others. That’s why it’s my favourite.

Now that you have a domain name and web hosting you need to get someone to design your site. This can cost anywhere from a few dollars to a few hundred dollars. I use a Wordpress blog on many of my sites. Wordpress is free and is a ready made website with a control panel for adding content. This blog is hosted by Wordpress. I think it looks good!

Who Loves Money? Is this a trick question? I would imagine that everyone who doesn’t have much would like at least a little more money.

Any that I have purchased or have had the pleasure to review for free have contained some great info and certainly the seeds of a plan to be successful online..

I think if you are willing to buy any ebook then you should be willing to put in the work to make some money from your purchase.

There is loads on info our there for those wanting to be successful online and to spend more time with their families - work at home moms and dads. The daily commute and hassle of an offline job are bringing people in droves to search for an alernative.

Many dream of working from home but infortunately few actually make the grade. 5% has been quoted as the per centage of those who actually make a success of their online businesses.

Why do so many fail? My opinion and experience with working alongside 1000s of budding entrepreneurs over the years tells me that most just are not willing to put in the work needed.

Setting up a home business is relatively easy compared to any offline enterprise but people just want it too easy. They want it handed to them on a plate. Getting Started with a Home Business - Smash the Illusions and the Fanciful Ideas

If I had a dollar for everytime I got an email from a prospect outlining that they want to setup an online business BUT do not want to work much and need to be earning X amount of dollars in a fortnight - I could retire today.

True story! - Ok, I exaggerate a little about the fact that I could retire but you get the point. Everybody wants to be rich but nobody wants to work for it!

My experience shows that everyone who has ever been successful on or offline has worked damn hard to get to where they are. Everyone I am in contact with online spends a lot of time in front of their laptop or PC working on their home businesses.

I personally could spend less time online but I love it so much it isn’t like a real job. Imagine if it was, sure what would the fun in that be?

The idea that you can make money online with no effort has to be smashed!

There are more ways to make a living online than I care to mention but before getting started you have to ask yourself if you have what it takes to be successful.

The greatest attribute you can have in ecommerce is persistence. It is the little things done consistently on a daily basis that soon gather momentum and build your online business PLUS consequently - your overall income.
