What DO You Want to Know About Making Money Online? I’m here to answer your questions…
What stops you from starting your own home business or investing time or money in an internet business opportunity?
I believe if a person is indeed serious about making money online, then they’ll do what it takes to find success.
I know when I started way back in 2000/2001 – I’m not sure of the exact time but it was thereabouts – that once I realized that is was actually possible to make a living online, I was ABSOLUTELY DETERMINED to make my dream a reality.
I did realize there were a lot of scams but I also knew that there were legitimate, REAL people making a living online. My task was to find a system or opportunity that worked for me.
For a couple of years, I was barely recovering my costs, and some months even going way over my budget, but I did learn a lot and all the failures eventually led me to find a successful online business.
What’s stopping you making a start to earn money online? What are your doubts about this business? Or if you’ve already made a start, what obstacles are making it difficult for you to profit?

It really depends on what you want to do.
I think what most don’t realize is that you do not have to set up shop in the ‘make money online’ niche. That’s what I do on this site but I also own website in a variety of markets.
If it is something longterm you are looking for then you are likely going to need your own website AFTER you decide the topic or niche for your website.

Thanks Linda. I see you already have a website so you’ve already taken a big step to build profits online.
By far the most targeted and most efective traffic I get is from the organic search results of Google and the other major search engines – and it’s FREE! Around 80% of my traffic comes through this avenue.
I have always made it my mission since getting my first website online to go after top rankings for as many keyword phrases as possible, related to the ‘work at home’ market. I now enjoy page one ranking on Google for 100s of phrases.
The bad news is that the more competitive the market the more difficult it is to achieve top rankings. My advice would be to go after ‘long tail’ keyword phrases – ie. 3, 4 or even 5 word phrases. Once you’re confident in your ability go after the more competitive phrases.

Blogging frequently coupled with getting backlinks from other sites will eventually lead to search traffic.
For short term traffic, look into Social bookmarking, posting on forums with a link to your site in your signature, and Pay Per click search engines(Pretty expensive).

If I were you this is what I would do.
1. Find a good domain name related to your products, ie. qualitywidgets.com, and register it(Cost around $10 per year).
2. Find a hosting company. This can cost as little as $10 per month.
3. You’ll need a platform to publish your content. Wordpress and Joomla are free. Once you have the ability to publish online you can start sharing infon on your product with pictures etc.
4. Once your site is online find some discussion forums online related to your niche and start sharing your knowledge on your product, with a link back to your site from your posts.
5. Have some business cards printed and start sharing them in and around your area with a link back to your website.
You can do all of the above for a few dollars and some hard work.
This is just a quick run down. You can research on Google for the specifics. If you have further specific questions on any step please ask.

You can indeed use those traffic exchanges. I continue to get free optins from Trafficswarm everyday. I also got a couple of pre enrollees from Craigslist yesterday by placing 10 ads. It took me less than 30 minutes to do that and one of the MWP trainers explains in audio exactly what to do.
I don’t know if you saw my offer but I’ll also be rotating free enrollees to the first 10 that sign up under me. I have 4 so far. The details are here – My World Plus Offer.
The secret with Traffic exchanges is to use a splash page to capture the emails in exchange for a free download, rather than sending the traffic straight to a website or sales page. I can send you more info on how to do that if you’re interested.

Get a blogger blog here for free.
If you blog daily for a few minutes every day, writing on the same topic, you will get targeted traffic from the search engines. Then you can add Google adsense – free too – to your blog and get paid for any clickthroughs on the ads.
If you’re determined enough this can work. Persistence is the key!

Thanks Patricia. Call me Mal. Your question is a general one and books have been written on the topic of legitimate home based businesses. So, if you want more info on different methods download my free ebook from the main page of the site Here. I’ve recently replaced my Home Business Success Vehicle report with a brand new 53 page ebook outlining quite a few popular ways to make money online.
Now to your question, I am not an expert on EVERY online home business. I can only talk about the one’s I’ve personally experienced. The thing that I’m involved with most is affiliate marketing. This is were I sell other peoples products for commissions. This is legitimate as YOU get to choose what you sell and don’t. You can grab a 10 day $1 trial of probably the most comprehensive affiliate marketing course here.
I’m also very excited about another legitimate company that I’ve become involved with called My World Plus. What sets apart this business model is that I believe it has a service that everyone need and can use.
There are 100s or maybe even 1000s of legitimate ways to earn cash from the internet. You just need to be careful of the scams. Scams tend to not stick around too long. So, if the company is at least a couple of years old then it lowers the risk, but this isn’t a fail safe way. Do some research online too to find others that have used the program or service, for feedback.
I suggest you check out the Warrior forum. There are a lot of good people over there and the member can spot a scam a mile off and expose it. So, if ever in doubt just ask over there.

How much money and how fast youy make it will depend on the amount of work you put in and your ability to recruit new affiliates and make personal sales.
I have never known anyone to be successful online without putting in a great deal of effort.

It is quite possible to start making money online without piutting any money down at all. It is not the route I went but it is possible.
There’s a difference in making a few extra dollars in programs like Cashcrate and setting up a legitimate, long term online business. If you opt for the latter then it IS going to cost money.
With all due respect no one would expect to go into business offline without investing cash and those serious about being in business online shouldn’t expect any different.
I have outlined and listed many ways and programs where you can get started for free. Once you have a few dollars though you should look to reinvest that money. For example in a website and hosting account where you can brand your name and products/services. Like I’m doing here.

Currently I’m placing catalogs and door hangers as a consultant with a very reputable business. I love it because it fits my “passion” and allows me to be creative. Although I just barely started, in one month I’ve started earning commissions. Much of my business is built on capturing email addresses and following up with prospects. So, you are definitely taking your business in the right direction.
I would say that it wouldn’t be a good idea to add a link or splash page to a business opportunity that is not related to your current site – untargeted to your content. For example, adding a dog training splash page to a home business site would be pointless.
You could search the clickbank marketplace for a product related to your niche market and offer it from your site.
If you don’t already have an autoresponder for following up, Getresponse, is recommended.
Have a look at Ultimate Footer Ads for something that you can easily add to your site to capture those important email addresses.

I have tried everything under the sun to make money but I keep loosing money and time. I have been searching for the best way to earn money online since 2000 but have never succeeded. I have tried everything (surveys, data entry programs, turnkey business, I even went as far as running a porn website out of desperation!) I’ve made blogs, websites affiliate marketing everything and nothing works for me. I am just so fed up with this as everybody promises to help you but when you sign up all you get is junk mail and unnecessary information.
Please am at my wits end.. I’ve seen your kind of website before and forgive me for my sarcasm but I’m looking for someone who genuinely wants to help me.. I’m literally fed up of hearing how everybody seems to be making money and I seem to not succeed no matter what I do.

Setting up the sites is actually the easy part. Unless you consistently market the site – daily – then you aren’t gonna make any money.
You said you blogged. How often and for how long? I have never known anyone to fail to get targeted traffic to a blog providing they added posts regularly and built at least a few backlinks.
In what ways did you market your sites? Certainly I can point you in the right direction but you need to get clear on what works and what doesn’t and I need to know what you’ve already tried.

I think my major problem is marketing. I have no experience at all at this and I always loose money. I tried click bank affiliating, adwords, (dont understand adsense very well) I tried all kinds of advertising paid and free, I had a blog about my travels but nobody seemed to visit my site even though I paid loads of advertising companies.. I even tried SFI but the sponsor I signed up with was no help at all and I also lost a lot more in advertising for SFI and I got a little to no returns of my investments. With SFI getting referals was not a problem but getting them to be active was the problem. I had like a 1,000 referrals and no matter how many emails I sent to them like the program instructs I got nothing.
I just recently bought an adult turnkey business because I bought their high pitch marketing and they promised to guide me through the whole process and now that I’ve bought it they never respond to my queries and well a whole load of problems there so am stuck with an adult website that I have owned for three months and not one single sale or barely any traffic.
I need a program that will eventually work for me as now am unemployed and completely broke and need to make some money. I cant afford to advertise anymore and cant afford to buy any more programs or ebooks or whatever. I need someone who can truly and honestly guide me to honestly making a full time income as most times I’m left alone with no help at all.
Can you guide to programs that will honestly make me money without me investing any money in anyway?

With all the money you have spent have you accumulated any marketing tools or resources? You can probably use whatever you have to start getting some traffic to your current sites.
I belive the Adult industry marketing is different to regular marketing. I’ve no experience in this area.
This is a numbers game. Most programs will make you money if you just send enough traffic to them – even the crap ones(which are better to avoid). Getting the traffic on a sustained basis is the difficult part.
I suggest you start focusing on free traffic methods like traffic exchanges, blogging, article marketing, social bookmarking, that sort of stuff to drive some web traffic. You need to do it daily though to be effective.

It is possible you are referring to an article that was added to this site long ago in which case it is an article that has been added by a third party – not one of my articles. I don’t have any experience with Mazu.
I don’t recommend HYIP programs because in most cases the risk is too high. I lost $600 one time q few years ago in such a ‘no risk’ program. So I vowed never to get involved with such programs again. When a program seems to good to be true it usually is.

My advice would be to do a search on google and do your own research before forking out that kind of investment in ANY business. What does the $400 pay for?

Linda, the best way to get traffic as a newbie yourself is to go with Pay Per Click and also master it so that you know how to advertise there and make money instead of losing money.
I think that PPC is the best way for you to go.
