The day I decided to start my own home based business probably happened when I was about four years old. You see, my parents were both entrepreneurs and they repeated drilled it into my head that owning my own business was the smartest thing I could ever do. It was the sole reason they were able to put us four kids through very good colleges, so the advice is proven to me to work. Point is, I KNEW early on that I would one day start my own home based business. And the question is...IS THAT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO DO? Let's go ahead and assume that you do. Well, you happen to be in GREAT company as this year, more Americans than ever before will try and start their own businesses from home. That's not a factor of the population numbers, either. It has to do with necessity...whether financially or personally. Now, which category of work from home you get into will have a dramatic impact of how quickly you become profitable. Becoming a consultant requires x number of days to achieve profit, while becoming an internet marketer may take x-1 days. Sorry for the attempt at algebra...but I think you get the point. All home based businesses need to achieve critical mass in order to hit profitability.
