Let me tell you a story about a woman who got the bright idea for starting an online home-based business. She saw a commercial on the television about making millions with an online business and all the people were telling their story and she went nuts! She jumped online, typed in the web address, filled out the form, paid for the e-book and got started right away! She followed the instructions and about three weeks later she realized that she was over $1000 in the hole with no R.O.I.! She became frustrated because the commercial told her she could be earning in 15 minutes! Where was it? She did everything the e-book told her to do and nothing was happening! She was already unemployed so this did not help! This added to her problems big time. What did she do? Instead of getting anymore upset, she started researching this company and several more like it on the internet. She spent hours just reading information, hanging up on telemarketers, and finally she asked herself one question: "If that guru is making so much money, why does he need to sell an e-book telling others how to do the same thing"? Well, the answer is that it is the e-book that is making him the money, NOT the actual program! Oh my, now what does she do. She has lost enough money already and needs to make it back somehow but how? Understanding that in order to start a business you need to make investments with time and money, she knew there was a way, but she was not about to jump off the same bridge as everyone else. She read through the book again to see if there was anything she missed and realized that there was a lot of missing information. A lot of blanks that needed to be filled in and without the key factors, she was not going to make it. This woman went back to the drawing board and did more research, she even joined some of those so called free programs to fill in the blanks, but did not spend anymore money to actually work the program. She read through the guides they give you and saw that all of these programs pretty much leave important information out on purpose. They want you to sign up for all these programs, put money in their pocket while you try to figure it out and basically put you in the same situation as her first experience. What is going on here she wondered? Well, needless to say, months later she finally has a business that is working and it is not any of the ones she tried first or joined for free, that's for sure! The point of this article is to inform others that there is no easy way to start an online business. That woman told me her story and it was I who directed to the company she is now with. The reason is that no matter what kind of internet business you plan on starting, if you have the determination and understand that nothing is going to happen overnight and you are going to have to make an investment to get it going, then I suggested to her the same thing I suggest to you: Since you know you are going to have to spend some money to succeed, then why not put all your eggs in one basket? Research and find a company or program that offers you a product that will solve your problems, not a service. Just getting a service doesn't guarantee that you will get anyone else to sign up and you will have to spend money on advertising anyway, so why not advertise a program with a product where you know for a fact that once it sells, you make money. Here is one thing that most others will not tell you, every time you sign up for a program within a program, the person that signed you up and the guru is making nice pocket change from that. They sell you the story that "they want you to succeed" when the truth is folks, they really can care less because whether you succeed or not, there are hundreds more just like you signing up for all those accounts while they sit back and collect a paycheck. Of course they "want you to succeed, because that's more that you make for them!" Don't ever be fooled by a "Free Program/Free to Join" because it really is not free at all. Again, you know you will be spending a little to make a lot, so just make sure you find one that has 1 step, a valuable product to offer solutions to a problem, and does not require you to make a bunch of dead end phone calls (they don't work well at all!). Find you one that gives you a meaningful website to drive traffic to. Good luck and I wish you the best!
