Setting up a work at home business can be a simple affair or it can be one of the most complicated things you ever do.

2. Find a hosting company to host your site. A hosting company allows your site to be hosted on their servers, which are basically massive computers. This enables your site to be online 24hrs per day, 365 per year. A hosting company will cost you from $5-$30 per month for a basic setup.

3. Find a website designer to design a website buy or find a free script to automatically build a website for you. Once such script is Wordpress. This will set a blog up at your webhost and is free.

That’s it! Easy, right? With a blog set up at your site you basically write your own content. A website IS content. No need for any bells or whistles, especially if you are in this to make money online.

In fact, the less complicated tools on your site the better, as these add-ons usually slow down the load time of the site. People will click away from your site before it even loads. You are not going to make many sales with a site like that, right?

Most newcomers to internet business are paralysed to take action. They come up with a million and one excuses why NOT to get started. The thing is, as you can see above, you can be started in less than half an hour.

Of course it isn’t so easy to drive traffic to your site and that’s how you make money but this can be learnt as you go. If you find an experienced marketer who has been there before you then you can learn from their trail and error. I am always willing to help out in this area.

These are usually ordinary people like you and me who ventured into the work at home arena to try to make a living.

You can do it too. It won;t happen overnight in spite of some of the hype you may have read BUT it is achievable with hard work and persistence.

Starting up a small business online is achievable even for the newest of internet, burgeoning entrepreneurs.

The first question always has to be “How bad do you want to succeed?“. The amount of desire you have to achieve your goals will determine ultimately if you are successful online.

There is no shortage of online opportunities. There may be many scams on the net, but most opportunities I have come across in my 9 years of working from home DO have the potential to make you a residual monthly income from home.

When I came online in 1998 and started to look into internet businesses I was taken in by the promises of immediate cash with little or no work. It is important when thinking about setting up an online business that you realise that this IS a serious undertaking.

I can guarantee that if you treat your business as a legitimate business and persist in your daily marketing of your new enterprise - you CANNOT fail. Even if you sign up for a free home business, you should treat it a REAL business.

My experience dictates that your small home business is going to take at least a little cash investment to get ahead. This should not come as a surprise. If you were going to setup a business offline you would spend at least a few thousand dollars.

The good news is that in a few weeks or months you could be well on your way to making a full-time income from the comfort of your own living-room.

Setting up an internet home based business has never been easier and less expensive than it is now.

Can you imagine how much money you have to spend to setup a business in the real world, ie. offline

Yet there are people online making a fortune from their own home, much more money per month than they could ever hope to earn from a regular J-O-B.

There is a plethora of work at home ideas online at this moment and you could spend the rest of your life deciding on which one to devote your time to. The main thing is not to get bogged down with too many details. Find someone online that you can trust, and learn from them.

There are many legitimate ways to make an income online but it takes focus, persistence and hard work, especially in the initial few months. Do not be taken in by the promises of instant riches. My experience has shown that it takes a least a month or two to cover your costs and get into profits. Some get there a lot sooner and many never get there.

The difference between those who fail, which is the vast majority, and the ones who go on to create a full-time income from home, is that the winners PERSIST. They refuse to let any obstacles put them off attaining their goals. I suppose this is one more thing that the offline and online world have in common. Losers LOSE sight of their goals and move on to the next BIG thing.

Online Business Opportunities

Everyone wants to be rich! What’s more they don’t want to take anytime getting there nor spend any money either. This is the basic mindset of many people searching for an online work at home business.

Are you one of them? Have you fallen for the hype? Or are you interested in setting up a serious online business? I seincerely hope you come from the latter group and not the former.
